One of ABBY's best products

While I have had my gripes most ABBYY's price and what I conceive is a clear loss in the quality of the apps (ie it's still corneous to find finer background software program!), I nonetheless have to say this app is excellent. I am a PhD candidate in the humanities, and had to pass four research languages in order to complete the program. That meant I had to learn to render quickly, and recognize common phrases in from each one language. If one is looking for the parsing or definition of a give-and-take then a mental lexicon is best, but if one inevitably to actually translate and solve through sentence structure, then this is 1 of the most ministrant apps I've found. I continue to use it for quick translation or to see my own rendering.

*i do echo early comments regarding whether the app utilizes the hardware of the up-to-the-minute iPhone effectively (it doesn't); the iPhones overcome cameras happening the market, and yet the ABBYY apps seem to struggle to take decent pictures. Deplorably, it's often easier and more accurate to take a picture with the indigen tv camera app and and then import into the suite of ABBYY apps. (I have received eight-fold responses to this issue informatory ME I'm doing it wrong, but I have an actualized lighting setup and a device that holds the phone over the page...I'm sure I will get corrected again 🙄 but there is some difference - that said ABBYY is even so the best available).

Avid Text Acknowledgement app

If you want a corking application program to capture text, whether it's from a book, a document, or an article in a magazine, etc. this is the go away-to app I would urge. It's not perfect - some text is wrongly acknowledged, still, that is ordinarily the fault of the lighting of the document being scanned. If you evenly fooling the project that you're scanning before doing a skim you'll have great results, although few words may be incorrectly recognized. Minor effort is obligatory to delete them before saving the documents surgery emailing them.

My only holle is that when combining multiple scanned pages, they are combined in a non-intuitive parliamentary law. It would be nice if you could somehow number each page that was scanned in the order that you want them combined. Maybe this could be fixed in a future release!
